Finding Me!

I look up to the sky and see
Beyond the stars a universe there for you and me
All the while the light of the moon shinning down on me
Feeling a pull and a desire to be free

To discover they facts behind what makes me ..... well me
Not an easy task for me as you can probably see
But I'm one step nearer to where I want to be
Not contented with me finding me

Spirit have decided there is more yet for me to see
Showing me visionary symbols what meanings can there be
Why choose me when I long to be free
They have their reasons I guess for now I just cant see

Now searching through books and the net to see
If i can make sense of what they are showing me
It must be something of importance for me to also share with thee
If i miss something then its shown to me again till I see

In my mind I still yearn to be free
But without spirit at a loss I will be
They have shown me, guided me to what makes me ..me
I know now that working with spirit is helping me find me.

Rainbow Of Life

I have no idea where this one came from, I started writing and then got the title and then carried on writing lol. But for me it says a lot , thoughts feelings everything really.

Rainbow Of Life

When your feeling down, with a face full of frown
Where do you look when in need of some cheer,
Do you look up and down or even to a clown
One place where it wont come from a glass full of beer


Do you look to a book or sit down by the brook
Do you gaze to the sky and see
Just over the clouds and to your left take a look
Can you see the Rainbow of life for you and me

The healing colours to uplift your heart
The red of life and intuition so go with your fashion
The red of courage , please let this injustice part
Stick with the joy and keep that burning passion

The yellow of summer so inspiring and warm
A friendship for life so full of grace
A new beginning of wonder be born
Enjoying the change of open thought in space

Tender pink of our confidence be
Believe in your happiness and grateful admiration
Share your love outwards to you and me
Release those negative thoughts and tension

The green green grass of home so sweet of tender life
Healing at its best and Nature humming all around
Give us our full potential and allow our souls to loose the strife
Our tender body's and gaze taking in our surround

Burning glow of the orange sunset of mercy
Leading us homeward to warmth and compassion
Allow us the growth of awareness with no controversy
Our fundamental gift of love not shared as if were part of fashion

The spiritual essence of purple aglow with fulfilment
Gazing to our challenges and working on our goals
Learning our limits our inversion of values and contentment
Learning how happy we truly are from the tails of our soul

Reveal to us the relevance in what we do and our inner truth
The serene calmness the blue surrounds us contained within
Through wisdom and peace we learn whats true yet ask for proof
Questioning our paths and choices rather than letting all sink in

The Rainbow of life and lessons told
Its now to you and your thoughts moving forward
A single soul in a universe of many its time to be bold
Muster your resources and pace yourself onward

OK well as you read this you will soon notice that it is a rewrite of the one above. I felt I needed more to that one and a change in the title so I wont edit my last post. Instead I will add it here

Where were you when my world stopped turning.
On that Saturday, Oh what a day.
Full of misery and hurting.
You were there for me that Saturday, Oh what a day.

Where were you when my world was crumbling.
When my heart tore in two, It tore in two.
You were there helping with my life rebuilding.
You said you knew just what to do , Oh what to do.

Where were you when I needed someone.
To help me see it through, To see it through.
You said I didn't need a someone.
As you are there to help me through, Help me through.

Where were you when I needed you.
To tell me its OK Oh its OK.
You were with me and you knew just what to do.
You said you'll never walk away, Never walk away.

Where were you when I needed you.

You are always with me watching what I do.
You've never left me , Never left me.

Even when my world stopped turning.

Even when I was hurting.
You knew what was inside, What was inside.

Even though I don't do the baking.

Where Were You ?

I started this poem almost a month after loosing my grampa and had never gone back to it. But after months of waiting on news about my Dads health and receiving good news, I felt I had to finnishe what I had started so I did.

A Lesson to be learnt

This poem has come about from something that has been shown to me. So many questions did i ask my self such as why me and why now. I was given my answers but i still question it lol. But isn't that the nature of humanity to question what is placed before us when we are not sure as to what or why. Curiosity can get the better of us and again this is another lesson of life to be learnt.

A Lesson to be Learnt.

Standing in a passage aligned by burning torches
My guide who is always with me stands and watches
Reassuring me that I can move onward
Nothing to be feared as I glance forward
Walking ahead towards the doors before me
Wondering what is there ahead for me to see

As the doors open inward to a large chamber.
Is this symbolic to the mind and something to remember
Many doors leading to other places from here
Again more reassurance of nothing to fear.
Curiosity now ravaging within
Burning questions I know now I wont give in

Every thing's so new yet so old, so much history
But why ? why me ? and why now? why all this mystery?
So many questions but its lessons of trust
Oh that trust such a big thing and a must.
I have to trust what I am being given
Or else its doubt flaring within.

I am not alone here but in comfort and not in fright.
So many objects within my sight
So many different things to see
I believe in a lesson there for me.
Time will show me what I need and when
Tempted now to learn and I'm sure I will again.

Onward ever Forward.

This following poem is well, a gateway to my soul in a sense, umm well funny i don't really know what to put other than when you turn everything off at night even for just 10 minutes and just chill in that space allow the time to pass on by and focus on the relaxing breathes and you may be surprised as to what happens next.

Onward ever Forward

Laying awake in the mid of night.
Shadows cast by the glowing street light.
The gentle humming.
Of nature turning.

A shadow moves on my right.
A glimpse of sight or trick of the light.
Imaginations running wild.
Sometimes like the basic thoughts of a child.

Oh never mind all is still again and so restful.
Relaxing as I lay there everythings so peaceful.
I do not fear what I can not see.
I have my thoughts that leave me be.

I have my connections and know of a presence.
They have been a while now a feeling of renaissance.
A new lesson being learnt within my soul
New targets, aims and all new goals

My mind frame set and ready to receive
Praying all is well and for nothing to deceive
Growing inward and spiritually forward.
I cast out out doubt and allow myself to move onward
